Kowalski’s continues our culinary partnership with renowned Chef Lenny Russo, owner and executive chef of the former Heartland Restaurant in St. Paul. Chef Russo is a multiyear finalist for the James Beard Best Chef Midwest Award and author of Heartland: Farm-Forward Dishes from the Great Midwest. He’s best known for his hyper-local approach to fine dining.
Join Chef Russo for a spirited discussion about how we produce our food and feed ourselves. He’ll be diving into sustainable gastronomy, local food systems and the economics of agriculture, explaining how Kowalski’s is working to meet the challenges associated with these issues. A selection of seasonal desserts will be offered along with coffee and wine pairings. Chef Russo’s book will also be available for purchase, and he will sign books after the presentation!
